This year we took the girls to the Royal Show and we had a great time. I won some tickets through a newspaper competition so we all got in for free. Here are some shots from our visit:

We decided to buy the yellow brick road showbag this year and the girls went from attraction to attraction getting their book stamped and collecting freebies and taste testing. It was really good as we went to displays and stalls that we wouldn’t normally go to. Considering the bag was $10 per child and we ended up with quite a lot of extra things from it (as well as experienced some new things!), I think it was worth it. This is Little L on a ‘high wire’ at the circus display.

Here is Little L on a Police bike, she loved that!

Its always interesting to see what each region has put together for their display, I think this was the winning entry.

Same with the floral arrangements, can you work out what movie this is referencing?

Miss K visiting a cow at the Farmer’s display.

During lunch we watched this amazing motorcycle display.

We let the girls have one ride and they loved it!!

Us with the ferris wheel behind us.

I loved this shot of the ferris wheel with the army display right at the base.
It was a fun day, we didn’t hang around for the fireworks, the kids were really tired by 4pm so we called it a day. What fun!
