Toddler Translation…

Christie over at Childhood 101 has suggested we share something innovative that our toddler has done lately. Little L is only 16 months old so she’s starting to parrot a lot of things that we say to her. I’m not sure that this counts as being innovative but the other night when I said to Miss K that it was teeth cleaning time, little L followed her big sister to the bathroom. She stood in front of the door and banged on it and said ‘eeeeeef’. I let her wander in and gave her the toothbrush and before I knew it she was putting the little footstool up so she could see in the mirror and happily brushed her teeth alongside her sister. She does it most nights now, just another sign that she’s growing out of that baby stage and into the real toddler stage. So cute!
