Things I Like and Dislike About Spring

I quite like spring. To me it speaks of freshness, new life, fruit, playing outside and flowers. At the same time I wrestle with hayfever, dust and the coming of my least liked season…summer. I think summer would be ok if it wasn’t so hot here in Perth. weeks on end of 35C and up (sometimes weeks of 45C) is not my idea of ‘yay!’. Summer to me = sweatiness, sunburn and flies (others here see it as the salad and beach season but beaches = sunburn for me).

So, before it gets too hot and the flies settle in, lets enjoy the nice parts of spring here in Perth and thank God for reminding us of how amazing an artist he is;

    Oh I hate summer too but spring is just lovely. Warm enough to wear more summery clothes but not at awful 40+ degrees.
