When we moved into this house Michael painted Keziah’s room in the two colours I have been planning on using, vintage green and light pink. My aim is to do a shabby chic style throughout her room. Well, finally she has more than just pink and green walls, she now has a doona to match!

Mum and I worked hard all week and sewed her a gorgeous doona cover and it really sets the walls off nicely. Next will be some curtains and I might make her a couple of little cushions to match with the left over fabric. We were very pleased with ourselves and so glad that we got to the end of the project in a couple of days!

What a lovely Doona cover you made. Here in Canada we would call it a quilt or a duvet cover. Doona sounds so cozy! It turned out really nice. I bet your daughter loves it!
