Amongst this new obsession of sewing I’m still polyclaying just as much as before. I’ve created a few new pieces this week that I’m quite happy with. Most of these are using scrap clay and I just love the randomness of them thats drawn together with the repeated floral shape. Here they are:

A brooch using a new technique I discovered while playing.

Some new styles of beads and pendants

Some lovely scroll-like beads. These are about 3cm long and remind me of rolled up carpet rugs

I love the way you can slice through some scrap clay and come up with these fantastic designs. These just looked delicious when I cut through and so I made them into pendants.

All these are unsanded so will look even smoother and shinier when I get that far! I’m also working on a top secret project for my sister-in-law (Hi Candy) so I can’t post any pics for a while, actually until after Christmas!

Thanks for looking, don’t forget to keep on checking out my shops for new items, links are all on the sidebar.

Hi Amanda ~ thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, I really appreciate it :)
I’m glad you like to visit my blog when you can.
Well, I must say that I think your Polymer Clay work is fantastic…really beautiful items. You are very talented.
Your op shop fabric looks fab. I have become addicted to it, and at least it’s satisfying my love for fabric….actually I have come to prefer the patterns and colours of old fabric over much of the new stuff. And it’s much cheaper!
Your sewing is coming along leaps and bounds. I’m very impressed. I’m still teaching myself to sew and have enjoyed the process immensely…I still have a long way to go, but at least now I am willing to give things a try.
Your little girl is a sweetie, and she will have some wonderful things made from her Mummy.

I have never seen clay work like this before and I really like it! Polyclaying seems like a lot of fun and I like how it looks like rugs as well. Good work and keep it up!
