Rodney Olsen over at The Journey has started an award to give to those who we think deserve to be noted. Rodney describes the award as:
Want to highlight someone making a positive difference?
Is there a blogger who deserves a pat on the back or simply something that has you feeling thankful this week?
The blogosphere can sometimes be a pretty negative place so I reckon it’s great to make a habit of accentuating the positive.
I would like to give this award to two people in the same post. Firstly, to Carol Wilson. Carol has been battling cancer for a while now and posts most days. She writes often about her struggles, the lessons God is teaching her and what its like to live with cancer. She works for the same mission we do - SIM editing the magazine. Carol, your postitive attitude and belief in FROGging (Fully Rely On God) is inspirational!!
Secondly, I always enjoy reading what Suzy Shipman over at Diuranta has to say. She shares her thoughts about life as a mother. Suzy is involved in different charities as well including running the Race For Life and fundraising in her workplace regularly! Suzy, you are also inspirational and I always enjoy reading your blog.
So, thats two thumbs up from me! Thank you Carol and Suzy.
